ZERO TB DIGITAL ADOPTION PLATFORM is a MJP Rohilkhand University inspired innovative, creative approach to adopt TB patients where they are cared through the use of technology. Adoption here means caring of TB patients where the person adopting the TB patient counsels, monitors and helps in successful completion of six months DOTS medicine course of the patient. If DOTS course is successfully completed, then TB can be cured and life of TB patient can be saved; moreover, the problem of MDR tuberculosis can also be avoided.
ZERO TB DIGITAL ADOPTION PLATFORM is an IT based DOTS, ADR community monitoring, psychosocial counseling and nutritional upgradation platform which is based on the WHO End TB Strategy 2015 ICT. The special feature of this digital platform is that educated and socially aware people take responsibility for caring TB patients in 1:1/2/3/4 ratio with no risk using Information & Communication Technology.
